This ceramic project began with a vase shape I developed early in my practice—clean, symmetrical, and open to reinterpretation. Over time, it has become a foundation for creative collaborations, including a very personal one with my son, IA.
IA started drawing my business cards when he was just four years old. His bright, bold, and delightfully naïve illustrations quickly became part of my visual identity. Now seven, he continues to create with an instinctive sense of colour and composition that feels both playful and unique.
Together, we're now exploring how to bring his graphic language to life on three-dimensional forms. Using the original vase as a canvas, we're translating his drawings into ceramic surface designs, keeping the spontaneity and strength of his lines. It’s a joyful collaboration that creates a unique bond between my son and me.
